Damn, this anime is SICK!

I guess people who have watched the previous versions don't like this, but this is my first time watching Berserk and I LOVE THIS!

this 2.5D animation is the wave of the future, one piece red, chainsaw man all look amazing with 2.5d.

Wave of the future? Isn’t this just the 2015 movie cut up into bite sized episodes?

This is from the 2013 Trilogy, the CGI of it is far better than the 2016. Also I think he meant by "the wave of the future" is that this is a better (futuristic) way to animate anime than sticking with pure 2D. Just observe this anime carefully, almost in every shot people literally are all moving and changing emotion.

i'm watching it probably for the 3rd time now, i love this arc
this remake has been made "thinner" they skipped several scenes or changed it, so that it would fit in less episodes from the original one
but it's true, i still love 2D style much more

I also love this Arc but I would also Like to See what happens after 2017 Version.

Though the majority may get sick of these i still think this is an interesting adaptation. Why are they remaking Berserk again? Maybe they're planning to make a next 'season' anime but before that, they probably wanted to introduce Berserk to new people before making that specific season.

its just the movie that came out in 2015, its not a remake.obviously its for a new season they have a timer on their twitter that lines up with the end of this show.

We can assume that it is an announcement regarding the new season of this series with the same animation but if it is a new season of the 2016 series then fck it.

This content is for adults and Berserk had so much adult stuff in it. Now they get rid of the lameass cencorship so this might lead to the beginning of the great things from the manga. If they start to animate from where the first anime left off it's gonna be fucking amazing.

Not true, I haven't watched the OG Berserk from 97, I tried to watch it and made it to ep 5 but the SFX, animation, storyline leaves a lot to be desired compared to this Memorial Edition, of which I am totally enjoying atm.

I am definitely sticking around to the end of its run.

Nice to see new content again. Makes sense to have this Judeau scene along with the Bonfire of Dreams scene with Casca being added. But I assume this is it for the added scenes. I strongly doubt they'll have Wyald(and I really hate that part of the manga so good riddance)

don't forget to watch the after credit... I wish this anime will go all the way to season 3 of the anime.. better still if they go through all the way to where the manga stop...haish...don't know if we will ever see the ending

Hey, It's Farnese and Serpico. It's Nice Seeing them Here. Also Now It's Finally Time For Round Goddamn Two of Guts Verses Griffith.

I didn't comment last week because I was depressed that I didn't get to see any Guts + Casca screen time together - they're my favorite characters if you cannot tell but more importantly, I want to see them end up together.

These episodes are taking way tooo long to show mein, I get that it takes an astronomical amount of work, of which I'm most appreciative but dang, I don't want to watch the OG - I made it to 5 episodes - as the SFX, animation and story leaves something to be desired compared to this Memorial Edition of which I am absolutely enjoying!

this thing is different than the first season...to many small scenes/things are changed .....i guess this remake will left us with the eyes in the sun...

there a bunch of steps from the street to climb up from the street to the door, but once at the door, you need to climb down a bunch of steps to get to the floor of the bar.And the entire bar looks like a basement. It's nuts! 19:43

Hmmm not that she recognized that she'll never going to be with Griffith the way that princess is going to be because Griffith wants his own kingdom? And this whole *celebration* just magnifies that?

i doubt this is the first time griffith marrying the princess/someone else has crossed her mind. i think this party let her think/focus on other things for a while. this was a win for all of them.
